☕ How to Make a Café Latte (Hot)

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot (30 ml) of espresso
  • 200 ml (about ¾ cup) of fresh milk (whole milk preferred)
  • Optional: sugar, vanilla, or flavored syrup (caramel, hazelnut, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Espresso
    • Use an espresso machine to pull one shot into a large mug or cup.

  2. Steam the Milk
    • Use a steam wand to heat the milk until it reaches 65–70°C (150–160°F).
    • Create light microfoam (smooth, silky foam on top).

  3. Pour the Milk Over the Espresso
    • Slowly pour the steamed milk into the cup with espresso.
    • Hold back the foam with a spoon, then top with a spoonful of foam.

  4. Add Flavor (Optional)
    • Sweeten or add a dash of syrup if desired.
    • Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or cinnamon.

✅

Tips:

  • If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use strong brewed coffee.
  • Froth milk using a milk frother, French press, or hand whisk.
  • Use plant-based milk alternatives like oat, almond, or soy if preferred.
